The Report highlights gross violations of human rights in Ethiopia committed by security forces and state led paramilitary forces created by the Government to counter insurgents in Oromia and Amhara regions often cloned to resemble the insurgents. These violations include extrajudicial killings; war crimes, crimes against humanity, and evidence of acts that may constitute genocide, or conflict-related abuses; stifling press freedom and widespread censorship; disappearance and abduction; torture and cruel, inhuman, or degrading treatment or punishment, among others.
